Jamia Millia Islamia has newly introduced two Academic programs for the current session 2022-2023. Here we’re sharing with you all the necessary details that you need to know about these courses.

1. M.Sc in Virology
The Multidisciplinary Centre For Advance Research and Studies has launched a two years Master of Science (MSc) course in Virology. It would be a self-financed programme. The Department has allotted 20 seats for this course and the tentative fees would be 90,000 Rs. p.a.
Eligibility Criteria
The interested candidates for this course should have the following minimum eligibility criterion-
- Bachelors or BTech degree in Science or related OR
- Disciplines specialisations like microbiology, life sciences, Bioscience, virology, Biotechnology, Biochemistry, chemistry OR
- BVSc. or BSc. Medical laboratory Technology. OR
- MBBS/ BDS OR
- Food technology, genetics Toxicology or any other related subject from a recognised university/ Institute with at least 50% marks or equivalent grades.
Biology as one of the major subjects at 10+2 level or equivalent is essential.
Note – The fees of this course is subject to review.
2. M.A Korean Language & Literature
The Department of foreign languages ( faculty of humanities and languages) has initiated a two years Master of arts in Korean language and literature. The program has 25 seats and the fees would be 10,500 Rs. p.a.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.A. honours Korean language and literature with 50% aggregate OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject or discipline along with advanced diploma in Korean language. With 50% aggregate in advanced diploma OR
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject or discipline along with Intensive advanced diploma in Korean language With 50% aggregate in the intensive advanced diploma.
The admission to both of these courses will be done through an Entrance Test.

The online applications for the above mentioned courses will be live on the university entrance website with effect from 27.09.2022. The last date for the submission of application will be 10.10.2022.
