According to the information received from Jamia, for admission in academic session 2020-21, Jamia has about 6700 seats for Graduate, Masters and PhD courses (6451 for Graduates and Masters and about 250 seats for PhD), for seats in all these courses A total of 170992 applications have been received. In which 25 candidates have applied for such seats of Graduation, Masters and PhD.

More than 32 thousand applications increased in Jamia in two years. There is increasing interest among students regarding admission in Jamia. Whose testimony is consistently showing an increase in the number of applications. According to the information received from Jamia, in the last two years, the number of candidates applying in Jamia has increased by more than 32 thousand. In this academic session, a total of 170992 candidates have applied for the seats of Graduation, Masters, PhD. Which does not include the number of candidates applying for certificate and diploma. So there were only 153544 applications received for all courses for admission in the academic session 2019-20. This year, more than 17 thousand of the applications received for admission in the seats of graduate and postgraduate and PhD. If the applications for certificate and diploma are added, then it can be increased further.

At the same time, more than one lakh 35 thousand (1.35 L) candidates have applied for admission from academic session 2018-19. In this way, Jamia has received more than 32 thousand applications in two years.
